PCIe, RapidIO, and Ethernet for High-Speed Interconnects
to be Focus of Linley Tech Seminar
MOUNTAIN
VIEW, CA—April
26, 2007—On May 9,
The Linley Group will present a Linley Tech seminar on "High-Speed
Interconnects" featuring top technologists and industry
leaders discussing the newest products and technologies
for PCIe, RapidIO, Ethernet and other leading interconnects.
The
morning session focuses on the latest developments in
system-level interconnects, featuring talks from leading
silicon technology suppliers on signal integrity, system
design,
and switching. It also addresses the design challenges
of using high-speed interconnects and how different interconnects
can be combined in real systems.
If your interest lies in the recent advances at the
physical layer for Ethernet at 10Gbps and beyond,
the afternoon
session examines solutions using 10GBase-T and LRM—new
standards developed to meet evolving system requirements
for optical and electrical. We'll examine both technologies
and provide you with critical information you need in evaluating
the appropriate technologies and products for your designs.
The day will wrap up with a lively closing panel, moderated
by Jag Bolaria, focusing on the relative strengths and
merits of leading interconnects. The audience will have
the opportunity to grill a panel of experts on Ethernet,
RapidIO, and PCIe.
You won't want to miss this outstanding lineup of presenters,
including:
-
George A. Zimmerman, CTO, Solarflare Communications,
will present "Delivering
10GBase-T Silicon"
-
Alex Dickinson, President and CEO, Luxtera, speaking
on "Silicon Photonics - The Next Wave in Low-Cost,
High-Performance Optical Interconnect"
