Linley Tech Processor Conference will highlight latest technology trends and product advancements

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.—September 20, 2011 — With a record number of industry experts set to present on processor technology trends and product advancements, The Linley Group today announced that the Linley Tech Processor Conference will take place October 5-6, 2011, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in San Jose, Calif. The annual two-day, single-track conference will include 20 technical presentations and seven panel discussions focused on the latest developments in processor architecture and design, semiconductor intellectual property and related technologies.
The event will also include an introductory keynote presentation by The Linley Group’s founder and principal analyst, Linley Gwennap, providing industry insight, market trends and forecasts. Keynoting the second day will be Dr. Christos Kolias, research scientist at Orange Silicon Valley, a subsidiary of France Telecom-Orange, one of the main European operators for mobile and broadband internet services and one of the world leaders in providing telecommunication services to multinational companies. Dr. Kolias will discuss the implications of software-defined networking on high-speed embedded processors.
