Inphi’s Colorz optical-link technology combines two component breakthroughs: a CMOS DSP chip implementing PAM4 modulation for dual 50Gbps channels, and a silicon-photonics die integrating Mach-Zehnder modulators, photodetectors, and mux/demuxes.
